Cooperation took place between the Zakho Administration, the Zakho Tourism Directorate and the Department of Antiquities to restore the old market and make it an archaeological market that reflects the heritage of the city of Zakho. Project Area is about 2275 m2, The market has been restored while preserving the ancient archaeological style. The market includes 140 shops, where the shops were designed with building materials that preserve the ancient archaeological appearance.
